Krabi Town's mangrove forest (Klong Chilat) is one of Thailand's most accessible. Kayak or canoe tours (400-600 THB, 1.5-2 hours) allow gliding between the roots. Crabs, monkeys and kingfishers are easily spotted. Departures from Krabi Town or bookable through guesthouses. Morning is ideal.
