Price: 1,200-1,500 PHP/person (shared boat), 6,000-8,000 PHP private. Includes lunch, mask/snorkel and kayak. Book the day before at any El Nido agency.

Tour B — Cathedral Cave & Spanish Flag Point

Tour B covers Cathedral Cave (kayak-through cave), Cudgnon Cave, Spanish Flag Point and Entalula Island. Less crowded than Tour A, ideal for cave lovers and snorkelling in lesser-known spots. Similar price to Tour A (1,200-1,500 PHP/person). Cathedral Cave requires low tide.

Sunset from Las Cabanas Beach

Las Cabanas Beach (4 km from El Nido town, tricycle 150-200 PHP return) offers Palawan's most spectacular sunset with views over the silhouettes of limestone islands. The beach bar serves cocktails (180-250 PHP) and snacks. The sea zipline (500 PHP return) operates until sunset. Arrive before 5pm.

Scuba Diving in El Nido — Sites & Prices

El Nido has over 20 dive sites including the Dilumacad Tunnel, South Miniloc Wall and Tres Marias Dome. A 2-dive outing costs 2,500-3,500 PHP equipment included. PADI Open Water certification (4 days): 18,000-22,000 PHP. Best conditions are December to March (visibility 15-25m).

El Nido Town & Cycling — Discovering Palawan

El Nido town is an authentic village (not yet over-touristified) with its seafront promenade, restaurants and local markets. Bicycles hire for 150-200 PHP/day to explore the surroundings: Corong-Corong Beach (2 km) and the long Nacpan Beach (23 km, ideal for a day trip). Local tricycle: 30-50 PHP within the village.

Getting to El Nido — Airport & Coron Ferries

El Nido airport receives direct flights from Manila (Air Juan, 45 min, 3,500-6,000 PHP). Alternative is Palawan (Puerto Princesa, Cebu Pacific/Philippine Airlines flights, 1h, 1,500-3,000 PHP) then van 5-6 hours (500-700 PHP) or 20-minute flight. Coron-El Nido ferry enables an island-hopping route (2d/1n, 2,000-3,500 PHP).
