El Nido town is an authentic village (not yet over-touristified) with its seafront promenade, restaurants and local markets. Bicycles hire for 150-200 PHP/day to explore the surroundings: Corong-Corong Beach (2 km) and the long Nacpan Beach (23 km, ideal for a day trip). Local tricycle: 30-50 PHP within the village.

Getting to El Nido — Airport & Coron Ferries
El Nido airport receives direct flights from Manila (Air Juan, 45 min, 3,500-6,000 PHP). Alternative is Palawan (Puerto Princesa, Cebu Pacific/Philippine Airlines flights, 1h, 1,500-3,000 PHP) then van 5-6 hours (500-700 PHP) or 20-minute flight. Coron-El Nido ferry enables an island-hopping route (2d/1n, 2,000-3,500 PHP).
